   Welcome to the official website of the New Iberia Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. As the President of this dynamic and dedicated chapter, it is my honor and privilege to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to each of you.

     Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. Founded on January 13, 1913, by twenty-two visionary women at Howard University, our illustrious sisterhood has grown to over 300,000 members in over 1,000 chapters worldwide.

     Our chapter, New Iberia Alumnae Chapter, proudly upholds the sorority’s legacy of scholarship, public service, and sisterhood. We are committed to making a tangible impact in our community through programs and initiatives that address education, economic development, international awareness, physical and mental health, and political awareness and involvement.
